why did my icloud reupload certain deleted photos back onto my camera roll

Recently, I went into my hidden album on my phone and noticed 3 specific images that have mysteriously reappeared in this album where they were deleted from about 2 years ago. I’m trying to get to the bottom of why or how these specific images randomly repopulated after a backup.
