Safari with release ios 18.4 “your browser does not support full screens”

Since yesterday after installation of ios 18.4 Safari will not play full screen. These are sites I routinely play video up until the new ios release. such as CNBC and youtube as examples. I comb the setting in safari and see no setting I can alter to fix this bug.

Even those two sites among others are listed to use desktop mode.

Should I mention a second problem with Safari that is also new????

Several site i visit regularly like my banking accounts or shop at are now without any option I can see, only come in mobile view. This is a two steps backwards. Its sometimes impossible to access menus or links or carts on the right side of the screen. These site ls i visit a few times every week!!!!!

I play with zoom levels, look for ways, (could not find a way) to add them to settings, desktop mode. All or this and more with IOS 18.4!!!!

Instead of fixing bugs, i am getting new ones.

There is no quality review and testing. I might expect this from a beta version but not with public releases.

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 18
