Downloaded Google Chrome, it installs but will not open Mac 02 14.7.5

I'm at my wits end. Installed and uninstalled Chrome many times. Restarted oodles of times and still Google Chrome will not open. The icon bounces around on my launch pad and then disappears. I'm ready to give up, please help!

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 14.7

Use www.brave.com without the Overhead of " Google "

Try to copy it from another computer or simply use Safari: Safari is better than Chrome on macOS Sequoia and even on macOS Sonoma
