How do I fix AI-assisted spell check issues on MacBook Pro?

None of the solutions have worked. Spell check just flagged the word 'explored' as misspelled. I click dictionary, it shows the same spelling, I close dictionary, the word is still flagged as spelled wrong and no option for the correct spelling. When I click spelling & grammar it isn't included as a word spelled incorrectly, at other times when a word is spelled correctly yet flagged as misspelled it offers nonsense words as replacements. Other times, if the word is spelled correct yet flagged as misspelled, I open spelling & grammar, I click learn and it's still flagged as spelled wrong - does 'learn' even work? I've had this issue for over 6 months, how long does it take for AI to learn spelling? Google has no issue know the intended word and providing the correct spelling. Whether 'show inline predictive' is on or off spell check continues to not recognize misspelled words, flags words spelled correctly as misspelled and offers misspelled words as replacements. I have to copy and paste paragraphs into google to find misspelled words and the appropriate replacements - google always knows the intended word that was misspelled. See screen shot of issues encountered while typing this. Can AI assisted spell check be turned off and if so, will it go back to the spell check I never had an issue with?
