Unable to arm a track to record

When I click on red R in the track header, the track will light red once and then not engage to allowme to record. Has anyone else had this issue? It happens on both of my Macs. I have a MacBook Pro and a Studio. So I wouldn't think it was related to one machine or version of Logic Pro 11.

When I record on a midi track, everything works as it should. The issue is: when I select a NEW track, the previous track is still record-enabled... Glitch: Record midi on 1 track, but another track will record the same midi info. Hello friends, please help if you can! I met a weird glitch today and it happened before. Whenever I record a midi track on ONE track, another random track will record the same midi info on that track. See the video down below. I’ve checked the I/O, the routings (both in Logic and in Kontakt), and the red record enable button. But I can’t find anything wrong. And this already happened before, which was very annoying. Cycle and Autopunch functions; Non-Armed tracks stop sounding audio on cycle I have a strange and occasional issue with my late 2013 Macbook Pro on Big Sur (11.6.8) and Logic (10.7.4) Can I punch-in AND cycle? I thought I could but here's what happens sometimes....I want to do multiple comps on a punch-in section... Cycle is set up a few measures before and after the punch-in section....When I try it, I hear everything fine and record that first pass...but as soon as the second pass occurs, my other (non-armed) track(s) drop out altogether...I've tried upping my I/O buffer size but I only get one shot at a punch in that I've defined by my punch in/out locators...then all other tracks drop out and it's just the record enabled track looping/recording. I created a brand new User profile on the Mac but this issue persists in a random fashion. thank you

Hi there,

Uninstall and reinstall Logic Pro
Try restarting Logic Pro
Make sure your interface is selected within Logic Pro>Settings>Audio>Devices>Input/Output

Maybe you haven’t selected the audio inputs properly. Post a screenshot of the channel strip and your audio settings.
