How can I fix Safari continuity issues on Mac and iOS?

I'm facing with issue with continuity(handoff) when any web page opened in Mac opens in iOS only in Safari despite the fact Firefox is main browser app in iOS

The answer given previously was: "To disable the "Request Desktop Site" feature on Safari on your MacBook, follow these steps: Open Safari on your MacBook. There is a "Settings" item which I'm guessing is the same thing??? Secondly, once in Settings, there is an "Advanced" tab but once in there, there is no sign of any "Show Develop menu in menu bar" to uncheck or check???? Can someone explain either where this menu/preference item is and if it doesn't exist then how do we stop bloody Safari from this annoying problem it has!!! Thanks

Unable to open websites in new tab on Safari Safari opens a website on the same tab by default. While there is an option in the Safari settings to open websites in a new tab, it never works. Safari doesn't work at all Why Safari doesn't work? I can't use it. Even to enter Appa via Google account , as it opens Safari pop up.
