How do I prevent Mac mini M4 from waking up in Standby?

When I leave or set in standby my brand new Mac Mini M4, after a fews seconds also the monitor go in standby. But after and every 2 o 3 minutes, monitor wakeup again as the Mac Mini is awaking from the standby, but no one touch it.

Monitor not waking up from sleep M2 Mac mini Ventura 13.3.1 I am using a M2 Mac mini running Ventura 13.3.1 connected to an HP w2207 monitor via a hdmi to dvi d cable. The monitor is usually kept in sleep mode. When I boot up the mac mini the monitor refuses to wake up. I then have to switch off and switch on the monitor for the display to come on. The same isse happens when I restart the mac mini. My 2009 mac mini however works perfectly connected on the same cable via display port. Any suggestions to sort out this issue would be very welcome. Thanks.

Mac mini won't wake acer X34P monitor from sleep Only owned it for a couple of weeks, Won't even wake monitor after log in screen. At first I replaced the HDMI cable, made no difference .I than read what I could on apples site about setting changes (not allowing the monitor to sleep etc) made no difference. I have found a solution that works I purchased apples USB-C to Digital adapter, and after plugging the HDMI cable from the monitor into the adapter the Monitor and the Mac mini are working as they should. I hope my experience can help others. Im sure future updates should fix this.

...by standby do you mean sleep or just dimmed display? Check if the System Settings are set to wake the Mac up for Network access. Maybe also handling Bluetooth devices like AirPods can wake the Mac.

If using sleep then do not, only causes issues. Just have display turn off after a set time.
