Genius results can’t be updated right now. An unknown error occurred (4099) when trying to open Apple Music on MacBook

When I try to launch my Apple Music app on my MacBook I get the error "Genius results can’t be updated right now. An unknown error occurred (4099)". The app will not sync to Cloud. I cannot find any answers, as everything posted is to correct Apple Music using Windows. Please advise on how to correct this error on a MacBook.
