Camera is not working on social media

Make sure you device and third party apps are updated to latest versions. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, contact Apple Support.

You need to have Apple perform diagnostics on your iPhone. It can be done in person at an Apple Retail Store or at an Apple Authorized Service Provider. You can also contact Apple Support and request remote diagnostics.

Have you made any adjustments to settings zooming your screen size or text size? Specifically check this path,

iPhone > Settings > Accessibility > Zoom > Off – if it is off, momentarily switch on and then off again. Please restart your iPhone.

Make sure the third party apps are updated to latest versions. WhatsApp was updated three times last week.

Open Settings app. Look for and tap Privacy & Security. Look for and tap Camera and make sure you have turned on access to the camera for the apps you want to be able to use the camera.

Hello there! For this, you may go to the settings and search for camera permissions. Therefore may be several apps that you haven’t granted access to the camera like some other apps. The default apple camera app is unaffected as it has been granted access automatically without your knowledge.

I'm having the same black screen on camera sections of social media issue. I already checked if permissions were on through the camera, and apps themselves as well as privacy and security through settings before even googling to see what the issue is. Can you offer further assistance?
