Getting a notification to charge watch because 70% remaining. But power remaining is at 92%.
Apple please tell me which to believe, and why the difference. Photos taken within 10 seconds of each other.

I would first try force restarting your watch by holding in the digital crown and the side button for 10 seconds till you see the Apple logo then release.
Failing that, if it were me I would unpair the watch from my phone then pair it back setting it up as new.
Did you already check the Battery Health in the settings on your watch?
Depending on the age and use, your battery will have to be replaced if the Battery Capacity drops below 80%, which could be a reason for the fluctuating battery power indication.

This happens occasionally. It eventually syncs up again without a restart. Just annoying that I cannot rely on the “alert” the Apple Watch provides, I always have to double check it…..
