Any issues with the latest iOS 18.3.2 software?

How’s the latest iOS 18.3.2 update? Did anyone face issues with it?

Just wanted to know before I update my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 18

The camera on my iPhone 15 just shows a black screen since updating to iOS 18.3.2.

Have try all the resets suggested without success. Going to Apple Store (which is 50 miles away!) this weekend to see if they can help.

Don’t do it. I have a 13 Pro Max and updated to 18.3.2. Now the back camera and flashlight aren’t working. A force restart fixed it for a couple of hours but they’re back to black and not going on and the restart doesn’t work anymore.

You do realize there are millions upon millions upon millions of iPhone 13 owners out there who have updated to iOS 18.3.2 without issue, right? Advising someone NOT to update because you have an issue, isn't the right approach. By not updating, people are leaving their phones vulnerable to exploits which updates patch. That's never a good thing to avoid.

You need to schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar to see why YOU are having the issue you described.

When I have an outgoing call I do not hear ringing. Also, I will have an incoming call that is coming through silently, but I do not have do not disturb on, my phone is not on silent, the phone does not vibrate. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and I've had continual issues with it since I bought it.

Last time I checked no one has ever died from skipping an update. Until they fix the issue, I don’t see the harm in waiting for the next one.

And to be clear, I NEVER suggested anyone died. If you don't want the latest security updates, that's up to you. Just don't advise others to skip them. That's NOT up to you.

To be clear, no part of my comment would force the person asking the question to do or not do what I advised.

I’m making it clear that I have the exact phone they have and also experiencing something that’s obviously happening to many people right now but happen to have other models.

you’re splitting hairs here and it’s unnecessary.

When you leave out an important consideration, your advice will be corrected by other people here. It's sort of like saying, "Skip getting blood drawn when you go to the doctor. It may hurt and leave a bruise." Of course, it also means your doctor may not be able to diagnose underlying health conditions that might be very serious.

And to be just as clear, MILLIONS and MILLIONS of others also have the same phone. If the issue you are having was shared by all, this forum, which is the most widely visited forum for iPhone on the planet, would be flooded with complaints. Yet it's not. I'm not suggesting you don't have an issue. I'm suggesting NOT everyone has the issue you have. Finally, you're the one who chose to be sarcastic with your no one ever died by not updating comment.

Since all you seemed to want to do was complain and not ask for help with your issue, I'll leave you to whatever solution you manage to find on your own.

CarPlay stopped working now the usb cord isn't bad i have it connected to my mac and the usb cord is fine but the cord isn't working in the car. It stopped reading the phone in the car now and CarPlay isn't displaying my car as it did before the update. The bluetooth however still works but connecting the phone via CarPlay no longer does. I have the 15 Pro Max and other issues with the phone started as well can't edit photos like used to have to do it a certain way certain apps aren't working as they should
