HomePod shortcuts stop working before bigger updates

Since the last three bigger updates (now close to 18.4) HomePods mini stop working with shortcut voice commands in regards to Apple Music. It Looks like this is only happening to the home owner, when my girlfriends is using the same command, the command works. After the update the command works again with my voice, too.

Running the same commands from any other device, even with voice, works just fine.

All devices have been unplugged, restarted, updated….

Homepod loses ability to restart on tap after update to OS 17 We have found it very convenient to "tap" on a HomePod to start or stop it. If we stop it while on a radio stations live feed, it would re-start the same feed, just like turning on a traditional radio. Since updating to OS 17, tapping the HomePod no longer restarts the paused feed, and the HomePod finds some random music from my library, instead. If I look at the HomePod in the Home app, the paused feed is still present, and can be restarted from the app, but tapping the device no longer works, so the problem is not fatal but it is certainly inconvenient. I am hoping there is some setting that needs to be changed. This problem affects all of my HomePods. Three minis of different vintages, and Two series 2's.

HomePod can't play "everywhere" I have four HomePods. If something was playing on just one I used to be able to say "Hey Siri, play this everywhere" and the song would start playing all over the house. Since the last update (I'm running 15.5.1) this no longer works. If I say "Hey Siri, play this everywhere," she now responds, "Sorry, I can't find (name of the song currently playing) in your Apple library." Anyone else having this problem, or have a solution? Needless to say, I've reset all of my HomePods multiple times, but it doesn't fix this problem. It seems like every update just creates new problems. It's frustrating -- I love my HomePods and use them every day, but they have NEVER worked entirely correctly since the day they were released. It's amazing to me how buggy this software STILL is, at version 15!

Why is my HomePod playing music without commands? Since, last week, my homepod has started playing music randomly, without anyone giving a voice command or touch command. It is really annoying. I have tried resetting it, restarting as well, and also disabled Hey Siri. But, to no avail. Also, changed its location, but the issue persists. P.S: Also homepod is updated to the latest software update. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
