Siri still won’t play music from Apple Music Library while using CarPlay

Anyone have a fix? This apparently has been going on for a long time.

Siri incorrectly identifies non-library songs as already in the library I have been using Music, HomePods, Siri etc for years no problem but now when I ask Siri to 'add song to my library' that is currently playing the answer is always 'this song is already in your library' which it most definitely is not! (also not in a playlist that is not in library or in favourited songs etc). I have done all the usual resets and power cycles. Anyone else experience this glitch? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Siri and Apple Music Does anyone know how to fix the issue with Siri playing music from Apple even if it is not in your library? every time I ask Siri to play an artist or playlist it simply responds with “I can’t find (x) in your library” it appears to have happened in the past couple days. I have to keep manually look for the music to play it. It’s really annoying when driving.

How to fix Siri not playing imported songs from Apple Music? Whatever happened has made Siri useless with Apple Music. I’ve imported so many cds in the past, but I also have Apple Music. When asking Siri to play certain songs - if it happens to be one I’ve imported in the past it says “looks like Apple Music can’t play that” … ok. So don’t play that specific song in my library and play it from Apple Music instead. The only way I’ve found to solve it is to search and delete that specific song from my library. Then Siri will play it from Apple Music. the problem is I have so much music and trying to ask Siri to do this while driving (I’m assuming a very common use case) I can’t search to delete the song first.
