find my iPhone just notified me that it found me but I neither asked my device to find myself nor do I have the foggiest clue who might have done such a think…anyway I got an email that I’m found

The email was not from Apple, although the criminals who sent it to you tried to make it look like it was from Apple.
Ignore the email. Do NOT click on any links in the email or provide any information.
Probable scam. Do not sign into anything.
