Importing media into imovie

It seems like everytime I try to navigate to a file, all of my folders and subfolders don’t display in alphabetic or numeric order. This makes it almost impossible to find a clip.

What’s wrong with my setup?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.6

When using imovie, trying to import media but files are grayed out. Anyone able to walk me through a fix? When using iMovie, trying to import media but files are grayed out. Cannot import files in iMovie 2.1.2 Hi, I know its an old computer and its outdated software, but I like using that kind of stuff. Anyways, I cant find any way to import JPEG files into iMovie, even though they are supported, they just seem to be greyed out. Could anyone help?

Click on "Name" to put the files in alphabetical and numerical order.
