I have my daughter and myself setup on the Music family plan for our individual phones. We also have an extra device connected to the home stereo that we both use. Is there an easy way to switch users on a device vs logging in & out. Example most streaming services ask "who's watching?" while starting up.

The iPhone and iPad are single user devices, so if you are looking for a device that has multiple users to log in/out, then that would be a Mac.
As you know if you want to log out of the Apple Account on an iPhone or iPad, it requires that users Password and you would also each need to know the Passcode to log in. This sharing of information is not how either of these devices were designed to be used. They are meant to be a personal device for a single user. You can still send feedback to Apple though:

OK, I understand now. I thought you were switching users on the device, but see that you are switching users on Apple Music. Yes, Apple Music is for a single user that is signed in and to switch users, you need to do exactly as you are by signing out first on Apple Music.
When using on a Mac, each user logs into the computer and switching users is done on the Mac to access their Apple Music, along with the rest of the users data such as Photos, emails, and Messages. On the iPhone or iPad, since those devices are not meant to share users, none of the apps are designed with any user switching functionality, other than logging out of your account and then signing in with a different on. You simply would not want 2 people sharing photos, emails, and messages on the device to have 2 accounts with Apple Music.
You just have a unique setup where I could see where the functionality of having user switching on the Apple Music app would be helpful, but would not be useful on a Mac or iPhone.
The device is actually a Raspberry PI running android OS and the apple music app. So if I understand right the app is designed to be single user?
Is there an easy way to switch users on a shared device?
