"use musical grid" checkbox isn't remembered

When using the "New project from template..." menu option, there are some "details" that you can change at the bottom. Typically these settings are remembered as defaults for all future projects created this way. However, the "Use musical grid" checkbox is not being remembered when unchecked. I have to uncheck it every time.

Plus, it sure would be nice if the metronome options and grid snapping were automatically turned off when unchecking "Use musical grid". I constantly have to turn those off when creating projects for voice-over recordings that have nothing to do with music, tempo, or snapping.

Prediction: Apple never sees this posting, or outright ignores it.

As far as your post goes, I have never really paid attention to this as it does not bother me to quickly enable and disable particulars. You are right though, "Use Musical Grid" turns on by default as opposed to things like Key, BPM, Input/Output Device which seem to stick if you "Save as Template..."

I will say when creating a "New Project" I found disabling Musical Grid worked every time.

Hope this helps,
