Installing macOS on 2011 MacBook pro

I have a 2011 MacBook Pro model A1278. Apparently the hard drive was erased including OS. I tried to do an internet recovery, couldn’t install high sierra for some reason. Tried to do a terminal command and it says command not found. How can I install macOS on this macbook

Mac OS not installing I deleted all of my drives to reset the computer but accidentally deleted the OS while I was at it. When I go to reinstall the os it tells me to choose where to install it with a blank box that I cannot select any options from.

How do I reinstall MAC OS on to a deleted disc? I erased my MacBook without using disc utility and now I cannot get my OS loaded. I still have an internet connection ...
