How do I migrate using a thunderbolt cable

Trying to migrate data from my iMac late 2015 to my mini pro but the migration constantly wants to use WiFi and not the cable. How do I change from WiFi to cable to transfer data

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 18

Wi-Fi Migration is slow and prone to fail.

Ethernet to Ethernet Migration is more reliable, but some what slow.

The fastest and most reliable way to Migrate, is from your old Mac's Time Machine backup drive.

If you want a successful migration PLEASE follow the steps in Setup Assistant and Migration Assistant. Other methods are dodgy at best, this method is the only one that works 100% of the time and is dead simple.
