If I tune my acoustic guitar with a pitch fork (A 440) and record a tract in C major then add a midi track of orchestra strings in C major the two tracks are a semitone off, the Garageband midi track is a semitone flat. How to I fix this problem?

Does the garageband tuner agree with your pitchfork?

So the guitar tuner in garageband does not agree with your pitchfork?
The Garageband tuner measures the pitchfork correctly. But it tunes my guitar a semitone flat from true pitch.
