iTunes purchase not playing or downloading...

I bought the latest album from Dream Theater via iTunes Store and I also have iTunes Match since 2011. I was in the middle of trying Apple Music for 3 months but canceled that subscription because I dont need or want it. Now, a couple of the songs (my favorites) in the album will not download or play (via Mac or iPhone) even though they appear as available to play either .

iTunes music purchases not allowing me to download, but shows purchased. Does anyone know how to fix this? I purchased these using my iPhone and less than half of the songs downloaded for use. This has happened on countless albums, but I have recently realized after canceling my Apple Music subscription. I planned on listening to purchased albums. I have inserted an example of my issue here. It looks like this has been an issue since at least 2013 for some users. I tried older fix methods, but none work since we no longer use the old iTunes for playing music. I feel like this should be a legal issue to allow purchase of music, then not allow you to listen to it.

Cant download a purchased song I purchased an album in Oct 2022 but was checking for the music recently and it’s not showing up in my iTunes library. I don’t have the option to download it into my library and every time I try to got to the iTunes Store it says I’ve purchased it but it takes me to an Apple Music subscription request when I try to play the song. If I can’t even download, play and listen to the song I purchased, I should at least be refund the cost of purchase! Is this some new Apple process to force you to sign up for Apple Music in order to listen to the music you’re purchased?!

Can’t Access Purchased Music Hello, There are several songs I have purchased on iTunes that I cannot now access. The songs clearly say “Purchased” in iTunes, but I have no option to re-download them. (I recently upgraded iPhones.) So far, it seems I can only download the songs if I subscribe to Apple Music. This is unacceptable. The music has been purchased without an Apple Music subscription. Please help me access this music or refund me for the purchase.
