voiply desktop app "not supported on my mac"

I've got a six year old Macbook Pro running Sonoma 14.6.1

With Skype's imminent demise, I've signed up with VoIPly and it runs fine on my Android devices. The Desktop App dmg cannot be installed on my Macbook Pro. The DMG icon has the Circle-Slash on it and the message is that the software is "not supported" on my Mac. Is there a way to learn WHY this is so?

Is this likely to be my problem or theirs? I'm not going to run out and buy a new Mac. If Sonoma is "too new" for them, I want them to upgrade their app. Any other possibilities?

Not a deal breaker that I can't make phone calls on my Mac as long as I can do it on my phone and tablet.

Thanks!

You will need to contact VoIPly support to find out what version(s) of macOS is required to run this app on a Mac. Apple won't provide you with these compatibility details. Each HW & SW manufacturing has the option to participate with the Apple Developer program. VoIPly should be no different.

In addition, I could not find this app at the Apple App Store for Macs.
