How can I stop audio unit validation in Final Cut Pro?

Hi there,

I have quick question... how to turn off validating audio units process? I'm having a huge problem with it because I have to wait 5-10 min every time I start Final Cut to get done with this and it starts to be really annoying and time consuming. There is no dedicated button in FC for this??? Would people in-charge in Apple for FC be so kind to add this button for switching off "validating audio units" in one of the next updates? I would hate to switch to Premiere... Thanks

Validation of Audio Units is not supposed to occur every time FCP starts… since it is happening for you (and of course with a lot of them it’s a big nuisance), I’d suggest starting by resetting preferences. You may also want to temporarily move some or many of these audio units to a different folder to at least mitigate the problem until it’s resolved. Of course this is inconvenient if you need for Logic or other software.
