Verizon is managing my Wi-Fi password in the Password app on my iPhone

i just checked my password app and i got concern because on my wifi password there are “3 managed wifi signal by verizon “ i can’t delete or erase. Why verizon has access to MY passwords app and why they haven’t informed me. Why Iphone does any company/Provider easily let this happens? I am the owner and i make se decision if let Apple do that with my phone or let Verizon intrude my personal app and manage something behind my back.. isn’t this a violation to my privacy ?

any help will be highly appreciated. please?

All Verizon customers have those same 3 Managed Wifi Networks. Cellular providers use these to access WiFi on a partnered provider when the cell connection is weak or unavailable and to offer additional WiFi hotspots to connect to. For example, T-Mobile partners with Alaska Airlines to provide in-flight WiFi and uses their managed WiFi network to do that. AT&T also has them. When you remove the SIM card they will go away and are part of the cellular service they provide.

Verizon customers get free WiFi access to many stadiums across the country where you can connect without providing a password as you are already authenticated as a Verizon customer and you would see the WiFi network called VerizonWiFiAccess appear in the WiFi section if you wanted to connect to it. Don't know the details for each one you see, but that is what they are used for.

I have the same type of issue I have three management networks on my phone that I cannot access and they say Verizon Wi-Fi Verizon etc. etc. but it's not Verizon doing that in all likelihood someone has hijacked at least parts of your network and or phone and good luck getting a positive response from Verizon or Apple in this matter

If that luck doesn't show perhaps the numerous victims of the perpetrators in question can discuss the subject in a more open supportive environment

You're getting to the right people, you're just not letting them help you. So far it's like you're at the doctors and you'll tell them is that something hurts but refusing to to tell them what and where. It's little wonder that you're getting virtually no responses and I'm on the verge of giving up.

You said "it says i am not allow to do it . on my own device !!! "

What, exactly are you trying to do? A screenshot will help.

What, exactly, tells you you are not allowed to do something? Which app are you talking about. A screenshot will help.

With more information and details of exactly what you are trying to do in which app on what device then you might get help.

You authorized them to do it when you accepted the terms and conditions for the Verizon account. You did read all the terms and conditions before you accepted them, didn't you?
