Apple Music app on PC says 'you are not signed in to Apple Music' despite being signed in

I am trying to play music on my PC via the Apple Music app as I have done hundreds of times before. I have not used the app in a few months and when I booted it up it said I needed to sign in again. It still showed me signed in but I signed out and back it anyways. Now anytime I try to play a song it says "(name of song) cannot be played because you are not signed in to Apple Music. You must be signed in to Apple Music in order to play." I am signed in. Additionally when I try to look at View my Account it says "This section doesn't exist or its not available". I am signed in at the bottom left and I see all my playlists. I have activated, deactivated, uninstalled, reinstalled, and restarted my PC multiple times. I am out of options. Please help.
