Is it just political posts.
The Apple community system would not let me post, simply saying post failed try again, then timed me out.
log in brought my post back but trying to send just sent me into the loop.
why?

Paranoia aside, the forums are having significant tech issues today. It is very hard to either post or respond this morning, regardless of content. The mods are aware.
As for what is and isn’t permitted, look at the very bottom of this page for a link to the Terms of Use we all agreed to follow when we joined here. Sect B.
It has nothing to do with the content of your post. The site has delays this morning for all users. You will just have to be patient. Many times the page will not load or you will see a message that says "We'll be right back".
For your problems with Facebook, Meta has already acknowledged a bug that was introduced into the app on March 1st and are working on a fix. It affected text input and for most users there was a grey box that covered what was being typed. Make sure you have the latest update and contact Meta for any further assistance. Facebook has already been updated 10 times in the last month and some of those updates just introduced more bugs when they were trying to resolve a different one. That seems to be typical for Facebook updates.

No paranoia initially I was trying to respond to another who had raised that, then the community forum crashes not allowing me to post …. coincidence or ….. lol.
We're cool. The forums seem like they have finally had enough coffee to mostly work today. As Mac Jim ID says, Meta has software issues that people are blaming on Apple.
