Cannot see texts from android user in a group chat.

So my friend who uses an androids texts stopped appearing in a group chat for me and another friend. Weird thing is the other people (who also use apple and imessage) can still see him. He hasn’t blocked me, because I can still text him directly. I also can still see the images he sends me, for some reason.

Friend cannot see my texts but can see my photos and call me I was on the phone with my friend when she started saying she couldn't see my text go through. I can see her texts, I can call her, and when I send a photo she can see it. She also sees my texts when I add her to a group chat but she doesn't get the texts from the group chat, they show up as MMS messages in our texts. She is on an Android. Anyone know a fix?

Group chat issues with Android phones I am not sure if this is the correct place to pose this question but I am looking for a solution to our recent group text issues. We are a mixed household with Android and one iPhone. The androids are an S23 ultra and S24 ultra that both use Google messages and the iPhone is an iPhone 13 that uses imessages. Recently the iPhone received an update and the group text does not work with the Android phones. The iPhone can send texts to but does not receive any texts from the androids. This only happens in group texts not one to one texts. Is there some new setting that must be enabled to now allow Android to iPhone group messaging? I would like to get this fixed as it will also impact my work related messages. Any help is appreciated. One detail to add, the Android users have used Google messages for at least a couple years so we are not new this app

Have you found a solution? I am having the same issue. I have tried everything mentioned on the web, but nothing has helped. Verizon was absolutely useless. They told me it was an issue between iPhones RCS and Androids not being compatible. Their solution was to tell me to ask all my android friends to use a google message app! This does not seem to make sense. Going back in time, not forward!
