My own iPhone playlist folders don't show

I recently had to replace my old Mac Pro running iTunes to a new one that has Apple Music.

In iTunes, I had my music and other audio neatly organized into my own playlist folders, sometimes folders and subfolders, but when I plug my iPhone into the new Mac and open it up in Apple Music, I just get a straight list of music files and they are not organized into folders. In fact, it appears there's no way to create your own playlist folders in Apple Music.

What do I do?

Can't get playlist XML files from iPhone. This seems like it should be a simple problem but so far I have not found an answer. My old Mac died and along with it my Apple Music (*not* subscription, just the app) library. I had all the music on an external drive, so the music isn't the problem, I was able to rebuild that all on my new Mac. The problem is the playlists. I still have them on my iPhone, but I can't seem to retrieve them. There are a few 3P apps that can copy the music files off the phone, but they don't actually copy the playlist order. All I need are the Playlist XML files, just as one would export them from iTunes or Music, but I can't do that because my new Mac isn't synced to my phone, and if I do sync, it will wipe all my playlists. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

Adding MP3 Files to Apple Music Playlist I have a lot of music in my Apple Music folders that are MP3 files - acquired when I had an HP machine I would like to move them into my playlists but when i do the playlist disappears from my apple phone the playlist is still on my macbook but they are not on my phone How do I rectify this situation so that I can move the MP3 files into my playlists I do have the phone and macbook synched to the cloud
