Uh.. it actually is. Its a national
holiday. When you look it up
on google international mens day shows up along with other major
holidays. Maybe its not widely accepted bc people have strong feelings about womens issues but it Is a national
holiday. Please feel free to
google it if it helps you find more sources.
heres a screenshot.
i’m surprised so few people know about this holiday. No offense but i just cant believe that people forget this holiday exists. 😅
well you learn something new every day i guess

It has Ash friday, first day of ramadam etc. NOT USA holidays. The question is why international women day is not there? this is an international recognition of women why it’s not there?? either take away ALL not USA official holidays or recognize at least the most popular celebrations
I think I made a logic point
why apple calendar has some celebrations holidays or important dates but not others?
Instead i get “we don’t care” so why this forum even exists? if it’s apple way or no way. ok bye i unsubscribe to this useless forum.. but of course you don’t care
You can get more involved with the awareness by reading more information on their official website. They also accept donations and encourage community involvement. Some specific points that you may not be aware of are:
https://www.internationalwomensday.com/About-IWD
As you have pointed out, there is also an International Men's Day:
https://internationalmensday.com
There is also an International Children's Day on June 8th:
https://www.compassion.com/world-days/international-childrens-day.htm
National Son's Day is March 4th:
https://nationaltoday.com/national-sons-day/
National Daughter's Day is September 25th:
https://www.nationaldayarchives.com/day/national-daughters-day/
None of these have been on your iPhone, but as suggested you can subscribe to your own custom calendar to choose any of the Holidays/Celebrations you would like to see there.

Might not be recognized as a US Holiday.

IF it bothers you that much, then subscribe to a calendar that includes international women day.
There is no Apple here in these user to user technical forums.
This answer apples to all that responded.

Of course, no need to tell me—I was just pointing out the inconsistency with Apple. By the way, this phone will be the last Apple product I ever buy.
We don't care if this is your last Apple product, hold no merit at all in these forums. Fill free to use whatever phone you like.

It makes no difference to us whatever device you choose to buy. I think others would agree to choose whatever device best meets your needs. Of course, your alternative is as Android phone where Google did have IWD on their Calendar and made the decision to remove it. The Google Support site could use your help over there as they are having trouble justifying that action. That is much different than never having it in the first place, along with the 4 other celebrations included in my post..

Your simply made the point that you will not buy another Apple product and received the appropriate response as it truly does not matter do any of us what device you choose and we would absolutely agree that you should get whatever device your wish.
For your logical point of why Apple does not include IWD, you see they also do not include International Men's day, Children's Day, Son's Day, or Daughter's day. There is no answer any of us can provide to a "why" question as none of us work for Apple and you can surely ask them directly if you wish. It obviously would not be fair to include one of them without including all of the others.
You were also given the option to subscribe to a custom calendar where you can choose any holiday/celebration to appear on your calendar that you want. I can't think of a more complete response to cover every aspect of your post and also included a solution for you, so you can see exactly what you would like to see on your Calendar.
Of course, no need to tell me—I was just pointing out the inconsistency with Apple. By the way, this phone will be the last Apple product I ever buy.
