Apple Pay and video call

Does anyone have this issue when someone calling you in video call from messenger and you can’t just click on hang up, you can only swipe to pickup and if you want to use Apple Pay card while someone is calling you it dosnt let you because the screen only goes off and on ad Apple Pay dosnt open I had this issues a couple time and it’s so annoying
