How do I handle a pop-up claiming my iPhone is hacked?

I need help a pop up said I was hacked a clean up came up and I down loaded it

that pop-up is a scam and designed to scare you into downloading something you don’t need and potentially unsafe. What you need to do is immediately delete whatever you downloaded, then clear your web browser history, and if you logged in and shared any personal information, you need to reset account passwords.

Reporting Digital Scams:

You can report these scrohdrels and their wrongdoings so to Apple and others (such as your government). Use my User: Using the Photos App to Report Scams - User Tip


Blocking Message Senders:



A. Using the App Called Bouncer:

For text messages, there is an app called Bouncer, which block messages out by keywords. But, if these are not text messages, then is would not be an option. Here is the link: Bouncer: Text Messages Blocker 4+ - App Store


B. Use Malwarebytes Mobile Security:

The free version blocks popups. The paid version blocks out known spam numbers, lets you add number to the block list, and allows you to report these numbers to the Developer. So, consider using it. Read the following post to see how to use this software: Blocked numbers - Apple Community
