Facetime acting glitchy even when wifi is good

Hi all, I've been having issues with facetime on my macbook and iphone a lot for the past couple days. I can see the other person, but turns out the other person sees me as glitching out constantly. They can hear my voice clearly, but the visual is lagging like crazy. I don't know what to do about this. My wifi and internet are strong, as I'm able to run my coding projects and I'm also able to watch movies and all, it's just facetime thats the issue. I have a 2022 m2 macbook pro and an iphone 16 pro, so it's not like my devices are out of date or anything. I'm also fully up to date on any updates. Could someone please help me figure this issue out. Also, the other person I'm facetiming is not the problem because they're facetiming other people and it works just fine.
