Spotify on HomePod requiring iPhone update despite being updated

As I ask Siri on HomePod to use Spotify it says “you’ll need to update your iPhone to play from Spotify”

This has been an issue for years now. What is the fix? I want to use my Homepods Siri voice to direct music via Spotify and not Apple music and it appears this is an impossible task.

HomePod not connecting to Apple Music Upon requesting Siri to play a song, it will get back saying “I having trouble to connect to Apple Music” and no music is played after. Just can play music on my HomePod if if broadcast from my iPhone.

Homepod: Sorry there was a problem with apple music I just got 2 homepod setup as pair in my home. All songs cannot be played if I command it directly to the homepod ( not through my iphone ). play "Like toy soldiers by Eminem" : "Sorry there was a problem with Apple Music". play Gun and Roses' songs : "Sorry there was a problem with Apple Music". play "Live and Let die" : "Sorry there was a problem with Apple Music". the only command works is "Play all songs" or Airplay I dont have Apple music, I bought all the songs on iTunes Store. When I command Siri to play song through my iphone, there is no problem. Thing I have tried: factory reset reboot 2 homepod log out and in account in homepod reboot network change internet service provider wait 1 or 2 days update iphone, homepod ... search your site and others for a solutions (but it's not work) is the problem that I don't have Apple music (I bought all my songs on iTunes Store) this is really frustrated
