Apple Device/Music/TV App not liking it

I finally took the plunge and downloaded the Apple apps for device, music, and Tv on my Win10 machine. Suffice it to say, I don't like them at all. I miss the old drag-and-drop from iTunes. I read somewhere in these forums that if I uninstall the apps, it reverts iTunes to the prior functionality? Is this true? I back up my iPhone to my iMac as well as my Win10 machine.

go back to itunes from music and tv app in windows I have been happily using iTunes on windows for many years. Today I wondered how I could play Apple TV+ on my windows 10 pc. I saw you could either do via a browser or download the apple tv preview app from windows store. I decided for convenience to do the latter. What a mistake that was. I opened it and it’s basically rendered my iTunes useless as it’s only showing audiobooks and podcasts now. By installing and opening the new app it’s taken over. I have lots of purchased music and iTunes Match music and lost it all I thought. Thankfully by downloading the Apple Music app from windows store I could then see it all now in here my question is , how can I get back to iTunes so I can see all my music and purchased films/shows in here? I only download the tv app to watch Apple TV+ content and never expected this unpleasant side effect many thanks, Wayne

iTunes Extra and Apple TV app on Windows I just tried the new Apple TV app on Windows 11, but was disappointed to discover that it is no longer possible to access all the iTunes Extra contents. If that were the case, I have no choise but to stay with the old iTunes application, considering that the Apple TV app and the iTunes application cannot coexist (or rather: they can coexist, but iTunes can no longer access the movie library if the Apple TV app is installed). iTunes libraries in 15.3 Sequoia Over the years iTunes app got split into Music and TV app. Within the Music folder on my mac there’s still an iTunes folder with Previous iTunes Libraries. Is there still any use in having them or the whole iTunes folder can be deleted?
