Why does my Mac say I need to update macOS when it's already updated to Monterey 12.7.6

When I open e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, it states I need to update my OS but when I check OS it states it is fully updated (Monterey12.7.6).

Any clues for me?

It sounds as though your version of Microsoft Office requires a more modern operating system (such as Ventura 13) to run properly, but your Mac can only support Monterey 12 at most.

Could you provide a screenshot so we can diagnose the issue more accurately?
