Why can't I add workout compilations to my Apple Watch?

It seems, Apple has changed the available complications in the newest Photos Watch face update.

I can add my 3rd party workout app as a complication, using the Activity complication will only open the workout current stats on the watch.

You can let Apple know directly about your wishes by using the Feedback link, Apple does not follow these user to user communities.

I’m having the same issue. It was so much easier to tap the workout app as a complication right before a class. But now you have to go look for it first. Very annoying. Is there any app that would allowed as a complication and would do the same as the workout app?
