HP 5.1.1 Printer Software Update - Apple Support

Earlier, a 19.13 driver from that package could perhaps have been suitable for an HP LaserJet 4100 series printer. However, the text says Not compatible with macOS v12 and newer, so it cannot be expected to work with macOS Sequoia 15 without modifications. If the package will not install, various solutions have been suggested (try a community search, for example, for the HP LaserJet P1005), but the success rate is somewhat unclear.

If a compatible HP driver for macOS 15 Sequoia cannot be found, or if another software solution is not possible, you may have to look for a workaround.

The first thing to try could be a macOS generic postscript or PCL driver.

Add a printer to your printer list so you can use it on Mac – Apple Support (UK)

(Add a Wi-Fi or network printer -> Use -> "You can also try choosing generic postscript or PCL printer software from the pop-up menu depending on your type of printer.")
