Cannot edit videos after the 18.3.1 update.

Taking videos on my iPhone 14 after updating to 18.3.1, I can find no way to "edit video" ( or photo), there is no option shown on screen to do this. Was never a problem on any of my previous updates. It was fast and easy! How can I fix this, please, anyone?

Videos will only play in edit mode in the photos app I can only play videos I have recorded in the photos app using the edit function. When I press the play button the video will not play. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and I am using the most up to dat iOS. Any ideas?

The pic below is self-explanatory. The terme "edit" is removed with the button called Edit (Adjustments) button
