Screen record while on FaceTime to capture video and audio

When I try to screen record a FaceTime call I hold the screen record circle, choose microphone on, yet my recording does not include the audio. What do I do to get the video AND the audio on a screen recording?

Screen recording Hey everyone, I have done a screen recording and made sure the microphone was on. It was a FaceTime conversation that I had screen recorded, but since playing back there is no audio? I’m so confused. Can someone please help as I would love the audio to look back on. Does Apple not allow you to screen record a FaceTime with audio? I have just tried another screen recording and the microphone is working so I’m bit unsure of why it didn’t work for FaceTime?
