Apple TV on Samsung TV loses picture when in YouTube before playing Ads

I’m using my Apple TV (2022 model with Ethernet) on a Samsung 80 inch TV. When I play YouTube, the screen goes dark for 2-4 seconds right before Ads. During this time I don’t see the Apple TV screen anymore and it just shows the Samsung built in Searching message, like it’s not getting a channel or signal on this Input.

Its very frustrating and almost impossible to use YouTube at all because of that…

anyone has a suggestion or fix? Many thanks for your help 🥰

it's a known issue it's because youtube use a lower fps for their adds and that makes the appletv blank out for a few sec.

I did and there was no change.

It happens across other TV streaming apps as well, for example Netflix or Disney Plus. This might be some setting on the Samsung TV actually, because on my LG TV in the other room, on a different Apple TV, I don't have this issue...

The first thing I'd try is to delete the YouTube app and re-install it.
