You've given this a lot of thought. I'm sorry but I think you are out of luck.

Changing your country is huge deal and is probably not good to do in order to download an app. Do you even know what countries it would be available in? I've listed what you would have to do. And you would probably not be able to easily switch back after downloading the app. And I wonder if the app would work once you switched back to a country where it is not licensed.

What to do before you change your country or region

  • Spend any balance remaining on your Apple Account. If you’re not sure whether or not you have a balance, check your Apple Account balance.
  • Cancel any subscriptions that block a country or region change, and wait until the end of the subscription period.
  • Wait for any memberships, pre-orders, movie rentals, or Season Passes to complete, and wait for any pending store credit refunds to process. You can cancel a pre-order.
  • Make sure that you have a payment method for your new country or regionSee what payment methods you can use.
  • Redownload your apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books on any devices that you might use to play or read them in the future. Some types of content might not be available in your new country or region. Learn what types of content and services are available in your new country or region.
  • After you update your Apple Account billing address and payment method, you can upgrade your iCloud+ plan using the pricing in your new country or region.

As for trying to get an app from someone in this community, there are two problems with that.

  1. We really do not have a way in this forum to allow for that.
  2. And even if you manage to get one, it would likely see your country during the set up and not allow it.

I wish I had a better answer for you. It sounds like it would be easier to just buy AirPods that are compatible.

I have similar problem. I like Pioneer Rayz+ so much, I bought 3 pairs. Unfotunately, I lost its app when traded in my old iPhone. Now Apple store do not have their app. Where can I find one? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but if the app was removed, your best option is what I've already suggested. Do an Internet search for Pioneer Rays and see if you can find a link to their support page.

Hi Carol:

Thanks for your advice. I did contact Pioneer Rayz a few times but they have not responded. I think they are kind of out of business. Their app download points to Apple store but it came back with message "App not available. This app is currently not available in your country or region."

There seems to be 2 options

1) I can try to change my phone country origin. But my understanding is that I need clear all my accounts with Apple first. This is not easy to do and change back.

2) If anybody in this community has a copy, can I get it from them. I don't know about any legal complication.

What do you suggest? Thanks again.
