Upgrading from macOS BigSur 11.7.10 to a current macOS on a MacBook Pro

I have a MacBookPro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid2014) with macOS BigSur 11.7.10

Is it possible for me to upgrade to a current MacOS, since I have received info stating BigSur will no longer be supported?

For that Mac, Big Sur is the end of the line. Big Sur is not getting current versions of Safari, but it is enough to run the current version of Firefox. Big Sur is also enough to run current versions of LibreOffice and of the commercial Affinity V2 applications (Photo, Designer, Publisher).

However, it is too old to run current applications from the likes of Adobe, Microsoft, and others whose policy is to only support "the most recent three."
