I am trying to sync an iPod Classic (Model MC297LL) to iTunes on a laptop with Windows 11. My music library is showing in iTunes, however when I connect the iPod Classic there is no option to sync iTunes to the iPod. Everything is up to date (Windows 11, iTunes...) and the computer is recognizer the iPod.
Is this option no longer available? It worked fine with Windows 10.
I have tried multiple things, but iTunes is not recognizing my iPod. My computer recognizes my iPod. Everything is up to date (Windows 11, iTunes). I have gone through everything with Support and was basically told that since I have done everything, there is nothing else they can do.
There is NOTHING in iTunes that gives me a sync option.
Thank you. I had tried all of that and still nothing. Inevitably I uninstalled the driver. Restarted computer, connected iPod, opened iTunes and it installed the necessary files. Finally. iTunes is recognizing the iPod and is syncing.
This problem didn't arise until I updated to Windows 11 a few months ago.

iTunes should behave exactly the same on Windows 11 as it did on 10. What do you see on the iPod's summary and music tabs in iTunes? Sync options should be there somewhere.
