I am trying to export xml files from FCP 11 into FCP 10.1 version. But such option is not coming . I cannot go further for color correction in Resolve. Please guide me .

FCP version 10.1 is more than a decade old. It is unlikely that you can transfer using xml. Are you sure you meant to write 10.1, and not something else, like 10.8.1?

Make sure you export the older version of XML not the latest version.

Ok, so now we are progressing. The clips being unlinked was to be expected. The xml only carries the structure of the project, or library, not the actual media. You need to copy the media files to the machine that is running 10.6, and you need to relink.
How to do it depends on how the media is accessed in the original library (inside or outside the library), and whether it is in the internal or an external drive. In case the media is in an external drive, and outside the library, you may only have to attach that drive to the second mac.
