Contacts (carddav.aol.com) - Password required - AOL name/password couldn't be checked

I opened "Notes" (or Contacts) and then it said I have to administer my AOL password (System preferences --> Internet accounts --> AOL) and when I do it it just says account name and or password "can't checked out" (I will upload a picture) and that's it. It just won't work out and synchronization between my phone or MacBook Pro M1 ain't possible and that irritates me. Anyone able to help me?

(I have a similar problem with iCloud but I will start a separate question regarding this issue. Though I wonder if there may be a connection. I just want to add that I called the Apple hotline so often about my issues and I never got any help. I'm just irritated that people (like I am) pay a lot of money because they think the synchronization between Apple products is great but if a problem occurs it's MASSIVE and no one can help you - not even the Apple support - and then that feeling of being left behind occurs. I hope some users can offer a solution.)
