When playhead departs the timeline hitting the spacebar resets the playhead to the middle of the visible timeline. How do I make it go to the beginning of the visible timeline?
Mac Pro, macOS 10.13
Running FCP 10.4.6 on macOS 10.13.6.
Left Arrow does throw the playhead to the left side of the viewable timeline, but must hit the spacebar to continue.

Afraid not. It’s fixed to centering the playhead in the timeline.
Function- Left Arrow is for non full size keyboards. eg: Macbook

I called Apple Care and found out one can toggle between cursor moving and timeline moving with FCP 10.7 or later but need macOS 13.5, which I can't use on this old mid 2010 macPro. Thought there might be a keyboard trick to do it.
