Hallmark Card Studio v22 for Mac WILL NOT OPEN ANY LONGER...WHY?

Give this a try: boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE 1: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following; 

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts 

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

NOTE 2: if you have a wireless keyboard with rechargeable batteries connect it with its charging cable before booting into Safe Mode. This makes it act as a wired keyboard as will insure a successful boot into Safe Mode.

Hallmark response to me: it will not work with Mac Sequoia and no timeline or indication that they plan to update. I found Cardia in the Apple App Store. It does not contain art work, images, or greeting messages, but it works really well. I've had it for a week now and produced 2 projects using my own artwork/photography and adding messages, quotes, poetry, etc. Good replacement for the Hallmark app if you like to be creative.

It is also possible the app is simply out of date or the developers have not updated it. Check to see if it has updates available and if the Safe Mode restart does not help, contact the app developer for support.

The last version that worked with that app was 15.1. All later versions do not. I talked to Hallmark and they stated that they have no plans on fixing the issue.

I love that in the image you showed they say that it is "Not Compatible" twice.
