How can I recover missing PDF files?

I was trying to transfer all my pdf pattern to usb drive but book app didn’t let me . The book app page kept getting frozen. I want to transfer all my pdf to my usb drive to make space for app Books. Then I went to check today they all gone just 15 pdf left the rest are all gone. Is away I can get them back to transfer all my pdf to my usb drive. I start to check since Feb. 17, 2025 to transfer them but didn’t let me every time I was trying.

How can I recover deleted PDFs in Apple Books? I was trying to save space and removed all of my book pdf downloads, but then a bunch of them disappeared. All .pdf files are gone from Books I had saved over 100 .pdf User Manuals for all the stuff I use. Been doing this for probably 10 years. Never had an issue before. Was in Books about 6 weeks ago and everything was there as usual. Went in today and all .pdf files are gone. No settings have been changed, Books is still toggled on in iCloud, etc. All actual downloaded books are still in there. It is just the .pdf’s that are all missing. As mentioned, never had an issue before and it is kinda strange that it coincides with the shutdown of My Photo Stream in last June. I know that is different but though I would mention the coincidence. Any ideas? Anyway to find these and get them back?

Scanned doc with Adobe Scan - recovery of files Hello. I have installed an Adobe Scan application on my mobile device. A few days ago I scanned a lot of documents and subsequently saved them as PDFs. The files were not synced with Adobe Cloud due to lack of wifi or mobile data. Now when I have wifi, those files are missing. How can I find them on my mobile phone?
