Unable to rearrange pages in Pages thumbnail on MacBook Air M2

Not able to move the pages in the thumbnail to rearrange the order . This is a brand new M2, 15" MacBook Air.

Can't rearrange thumbnails in Pages 12 in Layout document that worked in previous Pages versions I have a page layout (Document body not selected) document with 80 individual pages (NO sections). I just got a new computer with Pages 12.2 and I cannot successfully grab a page in the thumbnail and rearrange it to a different order. This is something I did all the time with this document before. The super weird thing is I have other documents in layout format where I CAN rearrange the thumbnails. I will happily send the file for someone to try to help. Thanks!

Add Page is not adding the new page to the bottom of Document Add Page should add a page to the bottom of the Document but instead, it inserts itself at the top pushing the 1st page down. If I add another page it does the same again - the new page goes to the top pushing the other two down; i.e. it's doing the opposite. Couldn't figure it out so opened thumbnails as the user guide said we can move the pages around, but it's not letting me move thumbnails and thereby the pages around. When I right-click there are options, like cut, paste, duplicate and delete. If I select the new page I don't want and 'delete' the first page I created gets deleted instead. Something can't be right with this. I'm on an M1 mac mini and the latest version of Ventura

File thumbnail preview takes forever to load on column view mode in finder mac os 12.6 Is there a way to disable only the thumbnail on the preview column view mode and still see all the file info? I can't do any tasks on my computer while the thumbnail is loading. It is very annoying. If I'm not mistaken, there used to be an arrow on top that we could click, and the thumbnail would collapse.

Only Pages layout format documents, where every page is its section can be dragged around in page/section order. These documents use the Blank Layout template. The default word-processing layout documents can reorder sections that may contain multiple pages, but not reorder the pages within each section.
