iPhone 16 Pro battery draining fast

I’m coming from a 13 pro whose battery capacity was at 86% and my phone could still last over 24 hours off of one charge. I’m really shocked at the capacity of the 16 pro. I can’t get more than nine hours off of one charge. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m only charging to 90% to expand the batteries life, but this seems absurd for this to be a brand new phone. I don’t even have social media on my phone so I’m not on it all day. Is Apple doing anything about this? I’m down 5% in 30 minutes.

I’ve had my phone for a month, prior to the current update. I’ve had battery issues since day one. I thought it was just because of the indexing of a new phone. I’ll try the hard restart and hopefully it gives me a push on battery life, thanks!

This might be because of recent update to the 18.3.1, I’ve had very bad experience last couple of days, but hard reboot seemed helped

And the overheating is annoying. I thought this would precipitate as the indexing finished, but it’s been over a month at this point. The battery and overheating has me in full on regret.
